SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Double yellow lines have recently been marked opposite Hyderi by the Lambeth Council. Double yellow lines mean that parking is restricted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (in other words ?at any time?). With effect from 31 January 2003 councils are not required to erect a sign plate to accompany an ?at any time? restriction.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK on the DOUBLE WHITE LINES BY HYDERI?S FRONT GATES. This is Drop off ? Pick Up area for elderly & mothers with young babies. Please do not put their lives at risk by blocking this area. We will not hesitate to name & shame those who are inconsiderate to the others.
- Have Sure e Fateha recited for your Marhumeen for the entire months of Muharram & Safar for ?50 per name.
- During these busy months of Muharram & Safar the Jamaat has to go through extra expenses (reciters, niyaz, cleaning, security, huge light & heat bills), therefore we humbly request each family to donate ?30 to cover these extra expenses when renewing their annual membership.
- Your annual membership is due for renewal now ? forms available at either desk. Please note: All past unpaid membership payments will have to be paid before your current membership is renewed. Your 18yrs+ sons & daughters are not included in the family membership.
- The new Jamaat directory is available at either desk for ?5.00 each.
- During the Julus of Shuhada e Kerbala, we shall distribute complimentary Qur?an in English to non-Muslims. 1,000 copies have been ordered from USA at the cost of ?1,500. The Hyderi Islamic School (our Madressa) has kindly agreed to donate the entire cost.
- Any Momineen who wants to recite Marthiyas or Nawhas please contact (at least 3 days in advance) Mohsin Ukka in the gents and Shahidabai Hassanali in the ladies.
- PLEASE NOTE: During these two months (Muharram & Safar), Programme on Sundays will be at an earlier time, starting with Maghrib Namaaz at awaal time, followed by the main Majaalis. Niyaz will be served after the Majaalis. See below for further details.
